Loyola Academy is set to begin remote learning following Governor J.B. Pritzker’s announcement Friday, March 13, that all schools in the state are closed for the next two weeks to limit public exposure to coronavirus.
All classes and school-sponsored events at the school have been canceled with eLearning being rolled out Monday, March 16.
According to school officials at Loyola Academy, the current plan is to reopen on Monday, March 30. At this time, no one in the school community has been diagnosed with symptoms of COVID-19.
Loyola Academy was closed March 9-10 after a student at the school was exposed the virus off-campus.
