When John des Rosiers set about opening his third restaurant, he wanted to do something to make it seem established.
So he named it after the Salt Creek in Hinsdale, Ill.
“I thought ‘That is a really good name for a restaurant,” des Rosiers said. “It’s a great name. It sounds like it’s been around for a while and it sounds like there’s more than one of them, which is kind of cool.”
